The smallest action can have the biggest impact! We were reminded of the power of random acts of kindness in this touching story that occurred at the Holiday Artisan Bazaar this past Saturday: one shopper, as he was browsing through the vendor stalls, was extremely amazed with the talent displayed so proudly. When he saw Erin Pearson’s up-cycled guitar string jewelry, he was impressed and really wanted to support her, but did not have anyone to buy jewelry for. He continued to wander, and struck up a conversation with another artist and ended up buying a piece from him. After, he brought this artist and the artist’s girlfriend to the vendor with the guitar-string jewelry, and told the artist’s girlfriend to pick out any piece she wanted… and bought it for her! She was so incredibly happy, and it was such a wonderful moment of human kindness and connection! A real life example of “paying it forward”.
