It’s that time of the year again! The 28th annual I Madonnari italian street painting festival will be returning to the Santa Barbara mission next weekend, May 24,25, and 26. The festival will benefit the Children’s Creative Project, an incredible nonprofit here in town that serves over 50,00 kids in more than 100 schools, with workshops that encourage visual and performing arts. We couldn’t be more thrilled that our mural team will be participating in this year’s festivities! This is the second creative public partnership between Youth Interactive and Santa Barbara Beautiful. Danny Meza did an amazing design that he, Toby Troutvein, and Jonathan Hernandez have been working on all week to prepare for this weekend! We are also extremely excited to have the oh so talented Mitra Cline on board as the leading supervisor for our square! Huge thanks to Santa Barbara Beautiful and the young artists of Santa Barbara! It is with great pleasure that the artists here at Youth interactive get to take part in this years Imadonnari! Check out this picture we snapped of the boys getting a little practice in. Come hang out this weekend  to see the finished product and enjoy the authentic Italian market, live music, and our amazing community. Keep an eye out for our mural team and their phenomenal work!  For more information on the Children’s Creative Project and the I Madonnari festival, visit their sites here @: http://www.imadonnarifestival.com/ http://ccp.sbceo.org/ccp_catalog.shtml
